Creating a budget can be so helpful in terms of finances! And if you’re anything like me, it can also be kind of fun. 😉 But more than just fun, there’s a lot of solid reasons budget creation is a great idea.
The first one being it gives you a visual of your financial goals. There are studies that show you are 42% more likely to achieve your goals if you write them down. It has also been shown that we as humans process visuals 60 THOUSAND times faster than having to imagine something. With these stats, it’s easy to see why having a written out budget would be beneficial. But how do we do it?
There are many great ways to make a budget, but one of my favorite platforms to use is Excel. Once you learn the main format for creating functions, it’s pretty easy to create a whole spreadsheet that you can refer back to frequently. You can even add in your own expenses that you can easily change later!
